More of the Same...

Now that it is nearing the middle of February, I am more than anxious for spring, especially spring break. We've endured almost four months of cold, so I think we're owed some good weather now. Granted, with the way it keeps snowing, I might believe Punxsatawney Phil.

Even with all the snow, February is when stores' new arrivals start pouring out. J.Crew has updated their new arrivals site almost weekly. Usually, I can pick out hundreds of things I want, sometimes the same thing in different colors.

This year, however, I can't help but feel a tiny bit disappointed. I feel like I'm seeing more of the same. Party tops with ruffles, graphic tees and tees with embellishments, pastel and neutral colors. While I don't dislike these clothes, I was hoping for something fresh; something new; something with bright colors!

And then as I'm looking at the pants, I come across this little number.

Sorry J.Crew, but what are you thinking? In my book, camo will never be fashionable or acceptable to wear. If I saw someone walking down the street in these, I would never in a million years guess they were a J.Crew shopper... More like... well, I don't even know where you purchase camo! Maybe J.Crew is trying to expand their consumer base? Even if that's the motive, I can't imagine it will be a huge hit.
