C.WONDER NEW ARRIVALS

It's almost spring, so let's feast our eyes on some springtime happiness, shall we?! I am loving the new arrivals at C.Wonder, with a small selection of favorites above. I mean, how cute is that blue ikat bowl? I'd be so happy eating cereal or salad or really anything out of it. It's the little things, right? The pink polka dot glass - I'm envisioning sipping lemonade cocktails on a porch in warm weather. I really can't get over the leopard needlepoint smoking slippers. I'm not even a big flats girl, but these are just way too cute. Must. Make. Mine. The clover necklace is a good layering staple, the initial earrings make for a great gift for a friend or yourself (!) and the clutch is just springy and fun. Who wouldn't want to walk into happy hour carrying that?!

Have a happy Wednesday!

currently

This week's Currently has a theme to it, doesn't it?! I didn't even realize until about halfway through that everything I was adding had some black and gold in it, and then I just had to keep the theme going! This week I am loving some cute coasters from Sugar Paper that are perfect for the upcoming Valentine's Day and this Threshold bench that I would love to have in my house... the question is where! I've loved the Kendra Scott pendant necklace for so long, and the bracelets from C.Wonder are just great accessories to any outfit (plus an extra 50% off!). If you have friends that are getting married, I highly suggest the adorable cocktail glasses from Furbish Studio. At only $18, they are such a good deal and a present that's different than hand towels. This jumpsuit rings in at under $100 - just barely - but it seems like something that you could have for years. And I've had my eye on this J.Crew jeweled shirt for awhile now... and it's 40% off.

I'm planning on spending my weekend relaxing - going to a movie tonight, maybe shop around Franklin tomorrow... ah it sounds nice to just hang, doesn't it?! Have a great weekend!

GORJANA GRIFFIN

Weekends go by way too quickly, don't they? I had such a nice one. On Saturday, Patrick and I went to downtown Franklin for a little exploring and shopping. I can't believe I have never been there before! There are so many cute shops and restaurants. There was also a Christmas street festival, so we had a lot of fun walking around through the streets and getting some tasty old fashioned donuts from a street vendor! Plus I was able to do a little Christmas shopping, which was much needed.

But back to regular programming. Have y'all heard of Gorjana Griffin? Awhile back I remember seeing something on another blog, but kind of just let it escape my mind. Fast forward to this weekend when I'm feverishly looking for gifts for a certain hard-to-shop-for sister of mine and I stumble across their site. It's full of the prettiest, most delicate jewelry pieces that could take care of anyone on your Christmas list. Not to mention, it's pretty affordable and right now they are offering 30% off sitewide. Let the last minute shopping begin with a little something for yourself!

LOREN HOPE FALL COLLECTION

Oh my gosh. I've posted about Loren Hope before, but can we talk about how amazing her fall collection is? I literally want every piece in my collection, but the above are some of my favorites. The necklaces are definitely a little on the pricier side, but the earrings and bracelets are definitely doable and would make great gifts. The colors are just so fall and so pretty. I'm in love!

THE ULTIMATE NECKLACE

This necklace on Bauble Bar has been on my mind for several weeks now. Since seeing Liz and other bloggers I follow style it so many different ways, I've decided it's the ultimate versatile necklace. It would be great with a black dress for a more formal occasion, or simply day to day paired with a chambray shirt or simple white t-shirt and jeans. At $48, it's not super cheap, but also not breaking the bank. An amazingly versatile piece like this one makes every penny worth it. Plus, if you join Bauble Bar's mailing list, you get $10 off your first purchase. How about that for a deal?

J.CREW NEW ARRIVALS - JEWELRY

Yesterday J.Crew released their first arrivals for spring... and I'm not disappointed. Initially I meant for this post to include all parts J.Crew, but I was loving the jewelry so much that I thought these jewels deserved their own recognition. It's safe to say I want every piece in this collection and J.Crew continues to make some of the best and most stunning statement pieces I've seen. It's certainly an investment to purchase one of these pieces, but in my opinion, it's worth every penny. You win  again, J.Crew. You win again.

MARGARET ELIZABETH JEWELRY

 Okay. First things first.

Something REALLLYYYY exciting happened yesterday, and if you follow me on Twitter, you probably know what that is. But if you don't, here is my news:

Patrick is moving to NASHVILLE!!!!!

After 1 year and 2 months of countless drives back and forth to Ole Miss/Atlanta and a few flights here and there this summer through fall, we are going to be living in the same city and I am So. Excited. We will finally be a "normal" couple doing normal couple things and it's just all really wonderful. So there's that. I had to share!

Now onto the true topic of my post: Margaret Elizabeth Jewelry. It's not too often I find a jewelry collection where I would like to own every single piece, but this might be one. It's the kind of jewelry that you could literally wear forever, and makes just enough of a statement without being over the top. From the rings to bracelets, necklaces to earrings, every piece is beautiful with gorgeous semi-precious stones. Below are a few of my personal favorites, although I have to admit that it was hard to limit how many I included because I kind of sort of love EVERYTHING. What's the next holiday? Valentines Day? Hmmmm..... ;) Now get over to the site yourself and start buying!

Loren Hope

I absolutely love statement necklaces, especially when they are bold with color. Jewelry line Loren Hope, designed by Loren Barham, is the perfect combination of everything I love in jewelry. It's beautiful, colorful, and in my opinion, timeless. I could see myself continuing to wear the pieces year after year, with a plain white tshirt and jeans to add some spice, or with a cocktail dress to add some extra pizzaz! Check out her line here, and see if there is a store near you that carries Loren Hope. For those of you living in ATL, you can find select pieces at Festivity and Poppy's. Some of my favorites from the line are below, but let's be honest, I would be fine owning ALL of it :) What are your favorites?

stella and dot

When I was in college, (like that was some far off time... let's be honest it hasn't even been a year) our sorority had a Stella and Dot trade show. I remember loving some of their statement necklaces, but the $150 price was a little too steep for me. I was just hoping I had enough money in my account to get me to the end of the semester which could be challenging given the increase in social events as the weather gets warmer. Regardless, Stella and Dot wasn't a name I forgot.

Today at work I decided to look at their website. While some of the jewelry is not exactly my style, I do like this clover necklace, especially the versatility of it, going from long to doubled up. At $70, it isn't exactly cheap, but it's a good piece that would get a lot of use without totally breaking the bank. I'll have to keep this one in mind or an eye out for something similar but cheaper.
