When I saw one of my favorite bloggers post about Lilly Pulitzer's furniture line, I knew I had to share my enthusiasm as well. I've known for probably over a year that a home line was in the works, but I hadn't really stumbled across anything except for some bedding on Garnet Hill and that didn't really get me screaming from the rooftops. But this, oh man. I wouldn't decorate my "married with kids" home like this, but if I had the outrageous budget this line calls for, multiple pieces would definitely be in my "young, city girl" home. Some of my favies:

J.Crew, I love you.
I got the April J.Crew catalog and OMG there is so much I bookmarked and loved. Color, color, color people!!!! Have y'all realized I absolutely LOVE color yet? Here's a couple of my favorite looks...
Really, REALLY digging the yellow on yellow combo with the dress and necklaces.
These white linen high-waisted pants absolutely rock.
Shorts, blue blazer, glasses... so preppy chic.
If only I had an unlimited shopping spree.... I would be doing some very serious damage to Lenox Mall's J.Crew. Looks like I'll be playing "If budget were no issue" shopping spree online today :) Is there anything from J.Crew you have to have these days?

Loren Hope
I absolutely love statement necklaces, especially when they are bold with color. Jewelry line Loren Hope, designed by Loren Barham, is the perfect combination of everything I love in jewelry. It's beautiful, colorful, and in my opinion, timeless. I could see myself continuing to wear the pieces year after year, with a plain white tshirt and jeans to add some spice, or with a cocktail dress to add some extra pizzaz! Check out her line here, and see if there is a store near you that carries Loren Hope. For those of you living in ATL, you can find select pieces at Festivity and Poppy's. Some of my favorites from the line are below, but let's be honest, I would be fine owning ALL of it :) What are your favorites?
1. Libby Colorblock Necklace // 2. Roxy Necklace // 3. Samba Necklace // 4. Elizabeth Necklace // 5. Trina Bracelet // 6. Sophia Studs

Mad for Mad Men
Did you tune in to AMC to watch the highly anticipated Mad Men Season 5 premiere? You can bet that I did! After getting hooked on the show only last year, I have been waiting for the new season for what seems like forever. Naturally, I was ecstatic for Don, Betty, Pete, Roger, Joan, and Peggy to return. I wouldn't say that the episode was anything shocking or out of the ordinary, but it did catch us up with everyone and Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce. I was surprised that their was no sign of Betty. I can't say that I particularly like her, but it seemed strange she wasn't in the premiere episode. Also - did anyone notice Megan's coral chevron coat she wore into the office after Don's surprise party? Because I was obsessed with it. I want one for myself :) Can't wait for next Sunday!

this is indiana.
It's gameday.
Hoosier Nation, get up. Let's beat the Cats.... AGAIN.
Show everyone that Indiana basketball is BACK.
And this time, for good.
Goodness gracious, I'm not sure how I'm going to make it through this work day. I am so freaking excited. Kind of like Kristen Wiig in SNL's skit Surprise Party. You feel me, Hoosiers? I know Kentucky is out for revenge... major revenge, but I've still got faith in this team. Let's hope Hulls and Sheehey make it rain 3's and Anthony Davis get's in foul trouble early.
GO HOOSIERS.

On Kate Spade Time
I'm proud to say that I have owned the same Michael Kors watch since the summer before freshman year of college. I'd like to think that I was ahead of the trend with Michael Kors watches, considering it seems like everyone on the planet now owns one, whether it's silver, tortoise, gold, or ceramic. I love mine because of it's overly large face and simple design - no glitz or glam. However, Mr. Kors might have some competition with Kate Spade debuting their first ever watch collection. Above are some of my personal favorites. Continuing with my pink obsession, I love the Cooper Strap in a neon pink and the Metro is a nice neutral color that is not a typical gold or silver. I've also been wanting a two toned watch for awhile now, so that would make the Cooper Bracelet a perfect addition. Looks like I better start saving!

I Dream of Justin
I think it's safe to say I have a teensy bit of a crush on Justin Timberlake. I mean, check out his resume:
- N*Sync boy band superstar
- Successful solo artist (Senorita, I feel for you)
- Awards show host - pretty sure the ESPY's haven't been the same since 2008. Come back, JT?
- SNL Host... hands down, the best.
- Proven actor - The Social Network was incredible. No argument.
- Business man
- Sports dude. He knows what's up in the world of sports, probably more than Charles Barkley and he gets to provide commentary during the NCAA. Hmmm.... a switch perhaps? Women viewers would probably skyrocket.
I'd like to think that JT's real life personality is the same when he's hanging with his friends as when he's hosting the ESPY's or SNL. He's really funny. And I would really, really like for him to be my friend so that I can enjoy his funny-ness (not a word, I know) on a regular basis. Unfortunately this is as realistic as me being a Broadway star... It's not.
However, last night I probably got as close as I ever will to Timberlake when I took my sister back to Athens. Apparently, Clint Eastwood, Amy Adams and Timberlake are filming a movie and they're using ATL and surrounding areas, aka Athens, to film. Two blocks of Athens downtown was shut down, so naturally Charlotte and I, along with many other Athens residents, went as close to set as we could to stalk. And I saw him. 100 yards away from me, stood Justin Timberlake in a plaid shirt, leather jacket, and jeans. And although my eyes were probably fuzzy from the high pollen in the air, he looked great. The only thing stopping me from running through the taped off area to him was the high security and my inevitable arrest. To my sister, if I were there, I would stalk out all the places he could possibly go. And then give him my number. Thanks :)

Hoo Hoo HOOSIERS
Today at 9:45 pm ET, my Indiana Hoosiers will take on New Mexico State in the first round of the tourney (I'm sorry, I can't get used to the new "second and third round" terms). It's been long awaited, this return to the tournament, the return to being a contender in the tournament, the return to the way Indiana basketball has always been. Except, unlike the beginning of the season, Indiana is no longer on their "innocent climb" as Jay Bilas so well put it. They're back. And they're a team to beat. If I know anything about Tom Crean and the Hoosiers, they will enter this game tonight focused, prepared, and ready to win to make Indiana, Verdell Jones, and their entire fan base proud. Let's go Hoosiers :)
"Tom Crean, who inherited the worst situation a college basketball coach could ever have found, stood on the edge of the court, near the place where on this night 18 years before Knight said he wished to be buried upside down so his critics could kiss his backside. The new coach smiled, remembering the moment he met each of the players who would stick with him when everything else had fallen apart." - Les Carpenter, Yahoo Sports

stella and dot
When I was in college, (like that was some far off time... let's be honest it hasn't even been a year) our sorority had a Stella and Dot trade show. I remember loving some of their statement necklaces, but the $150 price was a little too steep for me. I was just hoping I had enough money in my account to get me to the end of the semester which could be challenging given the increase in social events as the weather gets warmer. Regardless, Stella and Dot wasn't a name I forgot.
Today at work I decided to look at their website. While some of the jewelry is not exactly my style, I do like this clover necklace, especially the versatility of it, going from long to doubled up. At $70, it isn't exactly cheap, but it's a good piece that would get a lot of use without totally breaking the bank. I'll have to keep this one in mind or an eye out for something similar but cheaper.

Luck of the Irish
In case you've been living under a rock, Saturday is St. Patrick's Day! For the past four years, I have spent St. Patrick's Day on Spring Break. Last year it was in Key West with some of my favorite Thetas and Delts boys; the year before in Frat Lauderdale, dancing my heart out at America's backyard with my best friends, celebrating our little Catherine's 21st birthday right.
This year, I'm a little unsure of plans, but Patrick will be in town and Courtney and I are trying to plan something fun! It won't be Spring Break or the beach, but I'm sure Atlanta will still impress, especially since it's supposed to be in the 70s. Since I won't be galavanting around in a swimsuit, I need some sort of outfit plan that incorporates green. I picked up this white sweater tank from Old Navy that I kind of love. I don't have the green pants yet, but I would definitely wear those for a statement of green, paired with a pink belt, Jack Rogers sandals, and some simple Kate Spade jewelry. If only I had enough money to go buy an entirely new outfit, right?

reinspired
I've posted far too many times how I will be a better blogger, and every time I seem to fail. The truth is, I often stop blogging because I feel uninspired or begin to see it as a chore. I'll find myself asking, "What in the world can I blog about?" rather than having a multitude of ideas and inspiration. After reading a post from What I Wore about uninspired blogging, I think it's completely okay that I took a break. I would so much rather be posting about things that excite and interest me than post because I feel like I have to. Especially since I think about five people read my blog, I don't think any of them will die if I take a little blog vacation every now and then!
However, I can confidently say that after finding some new blogging inspiration - see who I'm keeping up with - I am feeling much better and ready to make this the blog I know it can be! Look for some major changes in the next couple months and lots of new posts to look forward to! And if I'm feeling uninspired, I'll be sure to let you know! For now, I'll keep on loving life and letting yall know just how much :)

Oldnavy is not typically one of my go-to places to shop. In fact, I really can't remember the last time I was there. However, after one of my friends recently told me how much luck she had there, I decided to peruse their website. I have to hand it to Oldnavy. Unlike Gap, who has no clear concept or vision (a once classic brand gone very, very wrong), Oldnavy has some sort of clear concept. The colors are bright, the clothes are basic with a little twist, and they are all reasonably priced. I have a feeling I may just have to stop in on my way home from work and pick up one of these adorable sailboat tops. How cute would it be paired with white jeans and wedges? Yep, done.

Pops of Pink
I don't know what it is - maybe the rising temperatures and signs of spring and summer - but I have absolutely been loving the color pink! It is such a fun color that can't help make me feel happy and a lot little girly! These are some things I've been eyeing that have the perfect pop of pink. Next pay check that doesn't go completely towards rent, I'm buying the C.Wonder clutch and J.Crew top. Can't wait!
